How about experiencing Japan's traditional side?
In this activity, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of kimonos and learn how to put it on. You will also learn and experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, famous around the world as the pinnacle of Japanese refinement and etiquette. Then, you will have the opportunity to go to a nearby temple to take some pictures wearing the kimono. It will definitely be a one in a lifetime experience and a highlight of your trip to Japan.
・Starting time at 10:30 AM or 3 PM.
・Meet your host at 10:30 AM (or 3 PM) outside Exit 3 of Shitennojimae-Yuhigaoka Station of Tanimachi subway line.
・Walk 3 minute from the station to a Japanese apartment.
・Select your favorite Kimono and learn how to put it on. Your host will show you how, step by step.
・Now it's time for the Japanese tea ceremony. You will learn its rules and etiquette, and then you'll have the opportunity to try it out and make your own green tea. Enjoy your fresh tea with some Japanese traditional sweets.
・Lastly, if you wish, you can also visit Shitennoji temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan. Where you will have a great chance to take memorable photos. Say cheese!
