【DX設計館 | Urban Yarns】手繩鉤織工作坊

紅白藍膠袋是香港草根文化與歷史變遷的象徵之一，1950年代進入香港，最初用作木屋區或建築工地的防風雨布和防塵罩。到1970-1980年代，港人常以這種輕便、耐用、容量大的紅白藍膠袋裝載衣物、日用品、乾糧等，探親回鄉或運貨。

時至今日，也許紅白藍膠袋已淡出我們日常生活，但仍偶爾有人用於搬家、移民或收納。而是次鉤織工作坊，延續這種經典的實用美學，以紅白藍三色鉤織手繩。讓香港特色得以傳承，歷久彌新。

【DX design hub | Urban Yarn】Crochet Bracelet Workshop

The red-white-blue plastic bag is one of the symbols of Hong Kong's grassroots culture and historical transformations. It entered Hong Kong in the 1950s and was initially used as wind-and-rain tarps or dust covers in squatter areas or construction sites. By the 1970s and 1980s, Hong Kong people commonly used these lightweight, durable, and large-capacity bags to carry clothing, daily essentials, dry provisions, and the like for visiting relatives back home or transporting goods.

Today, although its use has gradually declined, it is still occasionally employed for moving house, emigration, or storage. This crochet workshop continues this classic practical aesthetic by crocheting bracelet in the three iconic colors of red, white, and blue, allowing Hong Kong's unique characteristics to be passed down and remain ever-fresh through the ages.

若八號熱帶氣旋警告信號於當天下午2時前除下，本館將會在3小時內重新開放；如警告於下午2時或其後除下，本館當日將維持關閉。

The Lounge will resume service within three hours if the signal is cancelled before 2pm; if the signal is cancelled at or after 2pm , the Lounge will remain closed for the day.

黑色暴雨警告 Black rainstorm warning:

若本館經已開放，則開放時間維持不變。若黑色暴雨警告在本館開放前經已生效，本館將不會開放，直至黑色暴雨警告除下。倘若除下時距離本館閉館時間不足兩小時，當日將不會開放。

If the warning is issued during normal opening hours, The Lounge will remain open.

If the warning is issued before The Lounge opens, The Lounge will be closed until the warning is cancelled. If the warning is cancelled less than 2 hours before normal closing hours, The Lounge will remain closed that day.
