【DX設計館 | 匠藝之美】霓虹燈藝術家Jive Lau的光影分享會

今個星期天，DX設計館誠邀大家一起參加由Kowloneon創始人Jive Lau 帶領的光影演講！Jive將深入拆解傳統玻璃霓虹工藝的迷人歷史、獨特技巧和未來潛力！大家重新可認識霓虹工藝精妙的創作過程，了解霓虹於我們城市的文化價值，以及它如何將香港塑造成享譽國際的不眠之都！

除了的分享會，我們邀請參加者們參觀DX設計館最新的展覽《匠藝交織：捷克與香港工藝創作交匯》展覽。展覽聚焦了捷克設計師與香港工藝師近年的跨地域協作，深入探索雙方日益蓬勃的創意交流。三年來，設計學生與匠人們共同創造出獨具匠心的作品，彰顯文化對話與相互尊重在推動全球設計發展中的重要角色。

關於導師Jive Lau:

Jive Lau 是一位藝術家、設計師，也是 Kowloneon 的創辦人，對霓虹燈的美感充滿熱情。

他花費多年時間學習傳統霓虹招牌製作技術，並以此媒材進行創作。Lau曾前往台灣跟隨資深霓虹大師學藝，回港後於2021年創立Kowloon Neon(Kowloneon)，致力在工作坊中傳授霓虹製作,也在多間機構與畫廊展出作品。Jive Lau 與不同創意單位及藝術家合作，探索霓虹燈的多樣可能性，並推廣這種代表香港珍貴工藝的文化傳承。

Bio of the Instructor: Jive Lau

Lau has dedicated himself to studying traditional neon sign-making techniques and uses traditional neon signs as a medium for his creations. Lau has traveled to Taiwan to learn from master neon sign makers and upon returning to Hong Kong, he established Kowloon Neon in 2021. Through offering workshops on neon sign making and creating artworks, he exhibits his works in various institutions and galleries. Lau collaborates with different creative units and artists to explore the versatility of neon lights and promote the precious craftsmanship that neon signs represent in Hong Kong.

黑色暴雨警告 Black rainstorm warning:

若本館經已開放，則開放時間維持不變。若黑色暴雨警告在本館開放前經已生效，本館將不會開放，直至黑色暴雨警告除下。若黑色暴雨警告於下午2時前除下，設計館將會在3小時內重新開放；如警告於 下午2時或其後 除下，設計館當日將不會開放。

If the warning is issued during normal opening hours, The hub will remain open.

The hub will resume service within three hours if the warning is cancelled before 2pm; if the warning is cancelled at or after 2pm, the hub will remain closed for the day.
