【DX設計館】植物印染圍巾工作坊

植物印染，也稱為天然印染，是歐洲、美洲和澳洲常見的印刷技術。這是一種利用高溫和高壓釋放植物天然色素的技術。將植物排列在布面上的，經過蒸煮植物會產生不同的顏色，創造出美麗的圖畫。

我們會提供經過蒸煮後顏色鮮豔的植物供學生製作，這些植物包括尤加利、玫瑰葉、馬尾松、洋蔥皮等。我們也鼓勵學生帶上他們發現的植物將自然或升級改造的植物帶到工作室，並透過工作室測試使用這些材料的結果。

關於設計師

楊展 – 是 Alternatif 時裝工作室內的舊學生和成員。在 University of Westminster 就讀，2009年獲得時裝設計碩士學位。在香港他是一個年輕的香港設計師，於 2003 年度由香港貿易發展局舉辦香港青年設計師比賽中他獲得最高創意獎和於 2009 由香港創意中心舉辦年青才進比賽中他獲得優異獎。2003-08 年間他舉辦亦同時參預多個香港時裝節的時裝表演，2009 年並獲 “Cheers 2009″ 《逆流展》邀請參加倫敦藝術展覽。此外在 2007 年他受聘於中國李寧體育用品公司擔任高級時裝設計師一職，設計當中主要是運動服生活系列和為北京奧運會中國國家隊設計比賽服。

【DX design hub】Botanical Printing Scarf Workshop

Botanical Printing, also known as Eco-printing, is a common printing technique around Europe, America, and Australia. It is a technique that uses high temperature and pressure to release the natural colouring in plants. The way of arranging the plants on the fabric before steaming, will create different results every time and create beautiful pictures.

We will provide plants that we have tested to give vivid colour after steaming for students to create their product, the plants include Eucalyptus, Roses’ leaves, Pinus massoniana, onion skins, etc. And we also encourage students to bring along plants they found in nature or up-cycled plants to the studio and test the result of using those materials through the workshop

About the Desinger
Yeung Chin is an ex-student and member in Alternatif Fashion Workshop. He obtained his MA Fashion Design from the University of Westminster London in 2009. He won a top creative award in Hong Kong Young Designer’s in 2003 and YDC Special mention award by HK Design Centre 2009. His local performance include Hong Kong Fashion week fashion show from 2003 to 2008. His oversea performance in the London Cheers Exhibition 2009. he was hired by Li Ning as a senior fashion designer in 2007-2008 and G2000 as a Chief Fashion Designer. He is a visiting lecturer in Hong Kong Design Institute now.

8 號或以上熱帶氣旋警告訊號 Typhoon sign No. 8 or above:

若八號熱帶氣旋警告信號於當天下午2時前除下，本館將會在3小時內重新開放；如警告於下午2時或其後除下，本館當日將維持關閉。

The Lounge will resume service within three hours if the signal is cancelled before 2pm; if the signal is cancelled at or after 2pm , the Lounge will remain closed for the day.

黑色暴雨警告 Black rainstorm warning:

若本館經已開放，則開放時間維持不變。若黑色暴雨警告在本館開放前經已生效，本館將不會開放，直至黑色暴雨警告除下。倘若除下時距離本館閉館時間不足兩小時，當日將不會開放。

If the warning is issued during normal opening hours, The Lounge will remain open.

If the warning is issued before The Lounge opens, The Lounge will be closed until the warning is cancelled. If the warning is cancelled less than 2 hours before normal closing hours, The Lounge will remain closed that day.

本館保留權利及絕對酌情權隨時改變、更改、增補、刪除、暫時停載、修訂及更新此訪客指引而無須給予任何理由及預先通知。
