Overview

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are widely being used in surveying industries nowadays. The operation safety of UAV and such system are now being some of the major considerations for the industry to adopt to such new technologies to help on surveying progress, such as monitoring and inspection, etc. Nowaday, a commercial drone service job for example, most of the projects needed a qualified drone pilot to apply for the permission from the Civil Aviation Department (CAD). Thus, safety operation procedures of drone can help the job done safely and smoothly.

In this seminar, our speaker will equip participants with the latest technological update for operational procedures, benefits and limitations of the devices, UAV guidelines and regulations in Hong Kong. By having a robust understanding of UAV, surveying solutions for clients can be more thorough and safety concerns from stakeholders minimised.
