The Closing Forum aims at reviewing the main insights discussed at the Opening Symposium and 6 workshops and presenting analysis of workshop observations and surveys. Through exchange of ideas and sharing of analysis, possible recommendations will be generated and further discussed to explore potential development opportunities. The Forum thus serves as a platform for knowledge transfer and discussion of the insights from workshops and suggestions for future actions may further enhance the competitiveness and sustainable development of Hong Kong professional services and business in exploring oversea markets and related areas.

Session 1:

Belt and Road perspectives – impressions of Hong Kong projects and expectations for Hong Kong

An introductory session with presentations on 1.) workshop outcomes and survey results, and 2.) insights discussed in workshops (especially on the importance of understanding the public policy and governance contexts and managing the related risks). Comments from discussants in response to the workshop insights and their expectations for Hong Kong businesses and professional services will be invited.
