"Crip Camp" Screening & Post-Screening Talk "希望之夏" 放映及映後談

Join us for a special screening of ""Crip Camp,"" a moving and transformative documentary, which chronicles the story of a 1970s summer camp that provided a space for disabled youth to express themselves freely and build lasting connections. This camp became the birthplace of a groundbreaking disability rights movement, ultimately leading to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and reshaping the future for disabled communities.

Following the screening, we have co-founder of c.95d8 Bomb and local poet Clayton Lo for the post-screening talk.

《希望之夏》透過珍貴的歷史影像和訪談，記錄了一個身心障礙青年夏令營的故事。1970年代的這個夏令營不僅為青年提供了一個自由表達和建立社群的空間，更啟發了一場跨世代的身心障礙權益運動，最終促成了美國《殘障法案》的誕生，徹底改變了身心障礙社群的生活和未來。
