Hi, I'm Lois, I grew up internationally and speak Native American English. I have been writing creatively for 17+ years, have a Master's in Writing for Script and Screen, a 140hrs Master TEFL certificate and I'm currently obtaining a Life Coaching certificate. Most of all, I love and am passionate about creative writing and want to encourage, support and make systems with you so you can reach your writing goals.
I'll be your advisor, and what does an advisor do? According to Google:
'A person who gives advice in a particular field.'
Giving advice does not include:
- Telling you what to do
- Official teaching of very specific terms
- Giving you a whole story or writing project to work on
- Full-on editing and spell-checking
This class is a collaboration between me and you for your writing growth and journey.
Okay, then what will it look like?
- Idea-generation and brainstorming
- Specific encouragement and tips
- Setting goals together
- Introduction to various tools that are helpful in writing and how to use them for your goals
- Advice on wording, rhythm and purpose
- Advice on self-editing and proofreading
