Event Overview

REITs has existed in Hong Kong since 2005 when the Hong Kong Housing Authority launched The Link REIT on behalf of the HKSAR government. As of September 2017, there are nine REITs listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Unlike their American and Australian counterparts, most of the Hong Kong listed companies have not been popular instrument of investment due to their low yields. The discussion forum provides a thorough background to the Hong Kong REIT market, with analysis to the performance of REITs listed in Hong Kong. Comparison will be made on the return of investment for REITs with those of the property stocks and properties. Panelists from academic, fund management, institutional investment and REIT management background will share their expertise and views on the challenges and future development of the REIT market in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Deadline for registration:  19 October 2017
