Learn to leverage Nature Healing to improve mental wellness
About this event
Many of us living in the city have neglected the importance of interacting with nature. Harvard studies have shown that a 20-minute nature break can effectively reduce our stress hormones for 2-3 weeks. In the midst of the pandemic, one way to reconnect with nature is to join an interactive online encounter to invite nature into our homes and uplift our well-being.
Attending this talk, you will experience how nature can easily reduce mental fatigue and renew attention, learn simple skills to proactively manage stress everywhere using nature, and can develop some self-care routines with a daily dose of nature.
This is a great opportunity for you to learn to leverage nature healing to improve mental wellness and to slow down, refresh and recharge the mind. By opening up our 5 senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste) to connect with ourselves and nature, we can start to appreciate the beauty of nature around us in Hong Kong.
Nature Bathing as a social enterprise offers Nature wellness programs for urban citizens to de-stress and recharge, serving over 3000 people with various experiences. We believe in the healing power of nature as supported by science, and that we could leverage such power to boost our mental and physical health, ultimately uplifting our well-being.
