In honour of International Day of Yoga, we will pay tribute the path of Yoga and its ancient roots, discuss what is means to live a life of dedication and the evolution of Yoga practices within the world today.

The Sanskrit word “Yoga” essentially means, “union” or “that which brings you to reality.” Yoga originated in India and has been imparted as a science. Known as the path of ‘essentially finding the keys to the nature of existence’, we can learn to experience that we can be in a state of yoga in every moment of our lives.

Often in western world, yoga is still perceived as impossible physical postures of twisting and bending. This is a very distorted idea of what yoga is, as it goes far beyond exercise and involves the body, mind and spirit, and credits innumerable health and healing benefits.
