About this Event

Coding can seem tough, but is not a difficult thing. This spring, let’s use code and Micro:Bit to make interesting games! Using coding language JavaScript, scholars will work on planning, coding and debugging, and creating classic games like Magic 8-Ball and Rock Paper Scissors with Micro:Bit and LEGO Storm EV3. Students will need to bring their own laptops.

Coding Rhapsody FISH Course is now enrolling for scholars ages 9-13 to discover more about computer science and hardware coding in Hong Kong from 29 June - 3 July from 9am-4pm (*July 1st, public holiday, no FISH course)

Fully Immersive Scholar’s Holiday (F.I.S.H) courses are taught using THS’s active learning approaches to real-world issues, allowing your scholar to have fun while developing a 360 view of the topic. Make the most out of holiday breaks while immersed in an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

A bit about the Coding Rhapsody FISH Crew: Cora Yang runs the Media Tech program at THS, offering support related to learning technology, coding, film-making and robotics. She is a member at HKAECT and helps with organising their annual international conference. She is from southeast China and finished her master at the University of Hong Kong in Information Technology in Education. Her favorite sea animal is seal because of her wonderful experience of wild seals encounter in New Zealand.
