#CoCoonPitch enables entrepreneurs to present their products or services to a variety of audiences and seek potential funders, co-founders, team members, customers, partners or publicity.
So far CoCoon entrepreneurs have received over HKD15 MILLION in funding from investors they met at CoCoon. CoCoon Pitch Finals was featured on Forbes and TVB Money Magazine.

Myflat.hk is a neighbourhood social network developed especially for Hong Kong residents to better connect online with their real neighbours and build a stronger community in which they live.
2. [Accounting for Startups] FastLane Pro– Alex So
A team of tech savvy and startup friendly accountants specializing in outsourced accounting and corporate services. Fastlane offers cloud based accounting solution, Xero, to assist our clients managing their company financials anywhere anytime.
3. [E-ticketing for concerts] Playroll – Enoch Chan
Playroll helps music lovers track and order tickets for upcoming concerts. By helping promoters understand audience interests, Playroll helps bring more shows to Hong Kong at better ticket prices.
4. [Air Quality Sensors] Uhoo - Jean-Pierre Wack
Uhoo is an ecosystem of sensors that provides recommendations to people with respiratory problems by associating local air quality and vital health signs.
5. [Retail platform] Bindo – BenedictWong
A retail platform that indexes inventory and brings local merchants online through the use of an iPad-based Point-of-Sale (POS).
6. [Cellphone microscope] Muku Labs – Kevin Leung
With our technology anyone will be able to diagnose malaria accurately with one drop of blood, potentially save hundreds of thousands of lives using cellphones.
7. [IT Solutions for Education] Avrio Solutions: Zorro Cheng
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is an unstoppable trend in the digital world and Avrio is are here to facilitate the implementation of BYOD policies in schools.

Mr. Andy Ann, Founder and CEO of NDN GROUP
Andy has founded NDN GROUP, a difital media and advertising firm established in 2002. He has guided NDN from an early stage company to an expanding and profitable enterprise with a diversified group of global clients in the consumer products, telecommunications and entertainment industries. He provides NDN’s clients expertise in new media, digital advertising, marketing solutions necessary to achieve a powerful and unified brand presence on digital advertising. Andy’s integrated marketing strategies have helped individual brands of several of NDN’s clients consistently exceed their goals and objectives. His passionate commitment to exceeding client expectations has resulted in NDN delivering value added digital solutions to clients.
Dato’ CHEAH Cheng Hye, Chairman & Co-Chief Investment Officer of Value Partners Group
Dato' CHEAH is in charge of Value Partners’ operations, and is actively engaged in all aspects of the Group’s activities, including investment research, fund management, business and product development, and corporate management. He sets the Group’s overall business and portfolio strategy. He led Value Partners to a successful listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007, the first and only asset management company listed in Hong Kong.
Mr. Julian Cheng, Managing Director, Technology, Media and Telecommunications of Warburg Pincus HK
Julian is based in Hong Kong, joined global private equity firm Warburg Pincus in 2000 and focuses on technology, Internet, media and education investing in China and other parts of Asia. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Julian worked in investment banking with Salomon Smith Barney and Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong. He is a director of 58.com (NYSE:WUBA), RDA Microelectronics (NASDAQ:RDA), Xueda Education (NYSE:XUE), Koudai, Youxinpai and Liepin. He also serves on the Asia Council of St. Paul’s School. Mr. Cheng holds a B.A. from Harvard University.
Mr. Roland Yau, Associate of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
Roland has graduated in New York University, bachelors in biology in 2004 and the University of London, bachelors in law in 2007. Roland has been working with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a London based international law firm, since 2008. He has been and still am working in the corporate department at Freshfields with a focus on equity capital markets, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. I also have previous work experience working in the legal department of Deutsche Bank Hong Kong and was responsible for covering the bank's capital market activities across Asia (excluding Japan).
Mr. Robert Tran, Managing Partner and co-founder of Big Tooth Corporation
Robert co-founded Big Tooth since 2009, it is a start-up incubation firm with the focus in “internet data-driven” business. Currently, there are 6 companies within the portfolio ranging from ad tech companies, consumer risk analytic solution company to media measurement-analytic company. Big Tooth has done over 60 mm USD fund raised since inception across its portfolio in addition to its strategic and operation participation in each of the company. Passion together with deep vertical industry expertise is the core value of Big Tooth.
