CertTESOL Taster: Phonology - Intonation

In this interactive phonology workshop, you will experience a typical input session on the CertTESOL as we discover how understanding word stress benefits learners of English and adds a new set of tools for teachers to use in their classroom.

You will also get the chance to get some first-hand experience with the ways that input sessions are delivered on the CertTESOL course, meet a course tutor and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the course.

Trainer: Alexandra Rubenstein

Alex has approximately 13 years experience working in the EFL industry in Mainland China, where she has held a variety of positions in teaching and education management. Before joining English for Asia, Alex was a Regional Education Manager at Education First where she oversaw the teaching department across 6 adult training schools in Guangzhou. During this time, she was involved in several national projects related to teacher development and performance management. Alex holds a Trinity Certificate in Tesol and is a candidate for the Trinity Diploma in Tesol. She currently works as an online course tutor.
