After Pat’s unexpected passing, Angie navigates emotional and legal challenges, leading her on a path of empowerment. The Berlinale’s 2024 Teddy Award winner, directed by Ray Yeung, shines a light on the realities faced by the older queer community.

Join us for a vibrant panel featuring guests from Germany, Alva Träbert and Andre Lehmann from The Federation Queer Diversity in Germany (LSVD⁺), and Hong Kong, Jerome Yau (Hong Kong Marriage Equality), Ng Yan (Dear Family) and Francis Tang (Gay Harmony), moderated by Dr. Sonia Wong. As the timeline set by the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal draws to a close in September this year, the panel discussion will explore possible approaches to create a legal framework for same-sex partnerships, drawing on comparative experiences, including those from Germany. The discussion will be opened to the audience at the end.
