Dear Members
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join our Tour of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, which reopened in 2020 after a thorough renovation and expansion that has vastly enriched the city's art scene. Carefully detailed and illuminated, the refurbished space offers a unique experience for visitors.
During the tour, you will have an opportunity to explore the museum's connection to its surroundings, the application of fiber cement panels on the building exterior, and the carefully crafted spatial experience that has been enhanced through the thoughtful selection of materials and detailing specific to each collection - to articulate the evolution of modern art.
We are honored to have Mr. Tony Lau, Senior Architect from the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD), and Ms. Nina Yiu, Director at Arup Façade, as our tour leaders. They will guide us through the building and share their expertise and knowledge.
