His projects range from city planning to super tall buildings to industrial design and have been built in 30 cities on five continents. He is known for exploring the link between architecture and engineering, and for an emphasis on the environmental performance of building design.Mr. Wimer’s projects have been published widely and shown at distinguished art exhibitions and institutions such as the Venice Biennale, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. His projects have also received extensive recognition, including three Progressive Architecture awards.Carol PoonTechnical Manager, AUTODESKCarol Poon is a distinguished professional in the fields of engineering and technology, specializing in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital innovation. Currently, she holds the position of Technical Manager at Autodesk Far East, where she plays an essential role in educating clients and industry professionals on the latest advancements in Autodesk technologies, including Cloud Platforms, Generative AI, and Digital Twins.As a co-founder of the Hong Kong Revit User Group, Carol is deeply committed to advancing the BIM community. She has been recognized for her contributions to the profession with various accolades from renowned organizations, including the Architects Association of Macau and the Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modeling.ModeratorCynthia Ting, AIA, LEED AP (BD+C)2025 Treasurer, AIA Hong KongCynthia holds a BSSc (Architecture Studies) degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an M. Arch. from MIT. She is currently a Senior Manager, Construction Management, at Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park.Cynthia previously worked with US design firm NBBJ on many award-winning headquarters and tech campuses, including the Tencent Dachanwan Headquarters Campus in Shenzhen; the Shui On Wuhan Tiandi Innovation Hub; the HK Science Park Smart Living InnoCell; and Swire Properties’ Two Taikoo Place office tower. She was co-chair of The Committee on the Environment for the AIA Hong Kong Chapter, in 2023, and has been the Chapter Treasurer for 2024 - 2025.
