About this event
【Are you ready to go on a bug hunt?】
What will we do?
- go out together and see what bugs we can find.
- use iNaturalist to record our findings
- try to identify the bugs as well as we can using our field guides as well as taxonomy keys.
- convert our phones into microscopes to take macro-photos of our bugs.
- make some field notes, observations and drawings.
Every participant will also receive a BUG HUNTERS' KIT
Date and Time: 21 July 2018 2PM-5PM
Venue: Tsuen Wan (We will meet at our biolab at 3/F, 23 Mei Wan Street, Tsuen Wan)
Language: Mainly English
Fee:
- Individual: HKD 350/person over 12 years old (not include transportation fee)
- Family: HKD 400/child under 12 years old accompany with one adult (not include transportation fee)
Preparation:
We recommend you to wear long pants and bring sunscreen, water and insect repellent to the field trip.
