About the Keynote Speakers:

Mr. Nicholas KWAN (關家明先生) is the Director of Research, The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). A seasoned economist, Mr. Kwan has over 30 years of experience in economic and business research, including more than six years at Standard Chartered Bank as its Asia Research Head, seven years working for the Hong Kong Monetary Authority covering both macroeconomic and policy research, and 11 years at Merrill Lynch as its Asia Regional Chief Economist. Mr. Kwan is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has an MBA degree from the UK’s Warwick University. He was also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Dixon WONG (黃恒德先生) is the Head of Financial Services of Invest Hong Kong, the Government Department of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong. Mr. Wong leads the Financial Services team which aims at attracting overseas and mainland financial institutions to Hong Kong and promoting Hong Kong as a premier location in Asia. His team covers all types of financial institutions including banks, investment banks, fund managers and administrators, family offices, venture capital and private equity firms, financial advisors and intermediaries, leasing companies, securities companies and insurance companies. Prior to joining Invest Hong Kong, he has held various senior positions in a number of different departments in HSBC for more than 20 years. Before that, he worked in the audit assurance and advisory department in Ernst & Young. Mr. Wong is a Chartered Accountant, Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Secretary. Mr. Wong holds an MBA degree and LLB (Hons) degree. Mr. Wong reads, writes and speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese; in addition, he speaks Hakka.

Mr. Emil CHAN (陳家豪先生) is the Chairman, FinTech Committee, Smart City Consortium (SCC). Emil is a FinTech evangelist with over 20 years of experience in international banking, IT and Operations. He is the visiting and adjunct lecturer of various local universities and professional bodies. Emil is the Chairman of the Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals, The FinTech Committee Chairman of the Smart City Consortium, Supervisory Committee Member of iProA and the Honorary Chairman of StartHK. In order to unleash Hong Kong's potential and play a new role in the Greater Bay Area, Emil hosts numerous seminars, delivers public speeches and publishes articles of FinTech related topics on local newspapers and interviewed by various media from time to time.

Mr. Ahim KHO (許躍奏先生) is Head of Business Development in AWS Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau and was head of Ecosystem Partner in AWS HK, Taiwan and Macau. Ahim has been moving his experience over several stages from Technical Engineer on electronic (telecommunication), software development, enterprise systems management, marketing, channel management, to business development and concentrated on business transformation and helped new companies established their brand-new operation in Greater China for more than 25 years in IT industry.

Ahim started his career with traditional IT companies like IBM, Sun Microsystems, EMC, Bluecoat, and build the entire new operation for startup technology companies like Data Domain, Violin Memory and Nutanix as Managing Director in Greater China.

Mr. Raymond CHAN (陳穎峯先生) is Managing Director, 9F International Holdings, a subsidiary of 9F Group (NASDAQ: JFU), responsible for applying financial licenses and “Tech Enabling” business in overseas markets. He has been working in banking industry for more than 25 years, with 20 years in management positions of international, European and Chinese banks. Before 9F, he was Executive Deputy GM of China CITIC Bank International and Head of Marketing of ICBC (Asia). His career experience covers many areas in banking including e-Business, Marketing, Branch Network, Call Centre, Sales & Distribution, Business Support, and even technical services in a global bank.

Mr. Dominic WU (鄔思彦先生) Chairman of Asia Financial Risk Think Tank. Mr. Dominic Wu is the Managing Director and Senior Risk Manager with BNY Mellon for APAC. Dominic having 20 plus years of experience in banking, securities, assets management and consultancy. Dominic is a qualified accountant, fraud examiner and professional risk manager. He did his MBA from University of Hull, UK. He is sought out speaker in risk management and provides training to the regulators, universities, financial institutions and professional bodies. He is the Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Chapter of the Institute of Operational Risk (IOR) and Asia Financial Risk Think Tank.

We welcome new ideas for in-depth track discussions for the betterment of Hong Kong SAR, Greater Bay Area and the ‘Belt and Road Initiate’ countries and their people.
