Michelle will run through the benefits of breastfeeding, how to master your baby’s latch and optimum positions for feeding, how to tell your baby is hungry and will debunk some myths.
Juliette Dutois, Women's Health & Paediatric Osteopath
The ability of the baby to efficiently suck/swallow/breathe harmoniously is key to successful breastfeeding. Juliette will explain how do babies breastfeed and how minor mechanical restrictions of the head, neck and face can impact breastfeeding. Juliette will run through tongue ties and other common baby challenges to breastfeeding - top tips and advice on stretches/exercises/baby massage.
Dee Burton, Co-founder Leelaloom Handwoven
Leelaloom is a Hong Kong based handwoven sling company that also supports caregivers and encourages baby-wearing through classes. Dee is a certified baby wearing educator (UK) and will run through on how baby wearing can help new mothers breastfeed, separating myths and truths.
