Managing a successful global brand is a balancing act between local strategy and internal vision. IABC Hong Kong would like to invite you to join a seminar hosted by Ron Christianson, Global Head of Corporate Relations for McDonald’s Foundational Markets. Ron will share his experiences in managing a global brand identity across different markets and provide case study examples. He will lead a brief presentation followed by a Q&A and discussion session with all participants.



About Ron Christianson

Ron Christianson is the Global Head of Corporate Relations for McDonald’s Foundational Markets, and based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for driving the development and implementation of Brand Reputation and Corporate Relations strategies to support business growth within 85 diverse and dynamic global markets, consisting of more than 10,000 restaurants in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

A native of Canada, Ron brings extensive international agency and corporate experience to his work, with both agency and McDonald’s roles in Canada, Australia and Japan over the course of his 18-year career. He is a multi-disciplined Communicator who understands the changing needs and expectations of consumers, employees and stakeholders and leverages contemporary communications channels to strengthen and protect brand reputation.
