About SofieSofie Jacobs, founder of Urban Hatch has 20 years of international experience in all areas of midwifery, maternity as well as coaching and counselling expecting and new parents from all over the world.A big believer in the connection between body and mind, Sofie incorporates the power of knowledge, movement, mindfulness, nutrition and support into her practice.Sofie is a qualified midwife, has completed the Exercise in Pregnancy, and Optimal Nutrition for Post Natal Recovery & Healing, Breathe Better courses, created by leading women’s wellness and fitness expert Jenny Burrell who she now co-lectures with. BLOOM & THRIVE: Pregnancy 8 March

<LI CLASS="li2">Receive targeted nutrition tips from a holistic nutritionist to counter morning sickness, bloating, heartburn and cramps; as well as specially crafted recipes to give you & your baby the optimal nutrients you both need to thrive every step of the way. </LI>
<LI CLASS="li2">Understand which foods support you & your baby and which foods sabotage your efforts to have an uncomplicated pregnancy.  </LI>
<LI CLASS="li2">Arm yourself with the knowledge you need to choose the best pregnancy supplements, including the difference between folic acid and folate, how to choose the best fish oils and probiotics, and which herbals to include and avoid during pregnancy.  </LI>

THRIVE NUTRITION PRACTICE is owned by holistic nutritionist Cristina Tahoces, and focuses on pre-natal nutrition and post-natal recovery to help mums thrive and not just survive through the most important period of their life.  Cristina believes food is therapy for the body, she uses a science-over-fad approach to create realistic, nutrient-rich and delicious recipes that support immunity, energy creation and overall health & wellness.
