Mr. Ryan Mao has over 12 year-experiences in third party Certification Bodies, with a focus on the audit and certification in construction and consumer goods sectors. During his services, Mr. Ryan Mao and his team supported more than 500 organizations in various industries getting access to international and China domestic markets by achieving the required certifications, with the knowledge in regulations and standards.
Joining BSI, Ryan leads local teams for the product certification services and supply chain audit services to China and Hong Kong businesses and governments. And, Ryan is the BSI BIM Assessor for PAS 1192-2 and Kitemark Certification Assessor.
Ir Dr Llewellyn TANG is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB), Chartered Engineer (MHKIE), Fellow for the Higher Education Academy in the UK (FHEA), Fellow of Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (FCInstCES), and currently Director of Digital City Infrastructure and Innovation Laboratory - the first International BIM and digital built laboratory in China. With extensive project and consultancy experience on the development of BIM and digital built in the U.K. through his role as lecturer in the University of Reading, information and knowledge management researchers at Loughborough University, University of Bath, University of Cambridge, and a number of leading aerospace and construction companies, and more importantly, the nomination and invitation to be Deputy Chairman (UK Chapter) for the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and UK BIM Industry Task Group Member on behalf of high education institutions for Constructing Excellence, he helps convey U.K. government policy and industry priority to integrate and amplify digital technologies through the design process in city infrastructure, integration and its innovation, to promote digital built, BIM applications and researches in a number of infrastructure projects in the U.K. and China.
Title: BSI X UNNC BIM Management Training
British Standards Institution (hereinafter called “BSI”) and University of Nottingham Ningbo China hereinafter called “UNNC”) jointly develop a Building Information Modelling (BIM) management training courses with the purpose of cultivating senior BIM managerial talents who are leading the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. With the focus of bringing in internationally recognized BIM national standards from the UK into China, both parties hope to introduce the lifecycle BIM management experiences and best practices to the AEC industry, to provide the industry elites with leading-edge learning resources on BIM management, to improve the core capabilities of BIM management, and ultimately to broaden their horizon regarding the development and contextualising BIM and digital built into the sector. This CPD seminar will provide you further details on the course.
