During this weekend we will be practising Kum Nye, a relaxation method from the Tibetan tradition, which is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Kum Nye integrates and balances physical and psychological approaches to harmonize the energies of body and mind. The deep relaxation produced releases a vibrant, intense flow of feeling that renders all experience richer, healthier, and more beautiful.
For beginners it is a gateway to meditation, while for more seasoned practitioners it is a way to deepen our practice
Teacher biography
Matt has been practicing meditation and Kum Nye since 1998 at Dzogchen Beara, a retreat centre overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in south-west Ireland. During this time he completed two years of closed retreat and worked in a variety of roles including Centre Director (2003-2013). More recently he has been helping to plan and present the public programme in the new Temple.
Matt offers Kum Nye workshops and retreats mostly at Dzogchen Beara and online. This will be his third visit to the Rigpa London Centre to teach Kum Nye
