One in three Hong Kong students aged 12-18 has experienced bullying, with every incident potentially leading to devastating consequences. In the face of this often-hidden national epidemic, Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation creates a performance to make teenage voices heard.

Take a Stand is an original dance, song and physical theatre work that explores some of the most powerful portrayals of bullying in literature. Bringing together a cast of over thirty performers who pledge to take a stand against bullying, the performance is created by professional artists Eimear Burns, Isabelle Dansereau-Corradi and Astrid Lui, as well as YAF Youth Assistant Choreographers Vivian Ho, Natasha Hsu, Rae Lee and Jacqueline Lo.

The post-performance talk will offer you an insightful way of artistic examination with the issue of bullying, and a Q&A session to walk through the minds of youth.
