The Stroll Gallery in Hong Kong will be hosting a month-long group exhibition titled "Anonymous Time" from April 12th to May 10th. The exhibition features three Korean female artists: Woojung Ghil, Suyeon Kim, and Sukyung Chung. Through 30 unique paintings and glass works, each artist showcases their distinctive style, offering viewers a special sensory experience.


The title of the exhibition, "Anonymous Time," implies the individual experiences and memories that three artists reflect in their works through their unique perspectives and approaches. The exhibition invites viewers to explore familiar time and space in a new perspective and appreciate the remarkable sensations conveyed by the artists. The Stroll Gallery aims to deliver new experiences and emotions through art, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore diverse visual worlds.

Woojung Ghil

Woojung Ghil is a painter based in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts and Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA), and is currently completing a Master's degree in painting at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the UK. Recently, she has been expanding her artistic activities by participating in various exhibitions and art fairs across Europe and Asia, including London, Venice, Seoul, and Beijing. Her works are primarily inspired by the tranquility of mountains, water, and the resilient spirit inherent in nature. Through introspective and self-reflective practices, she strives to reach deep within herself and create artworks that depict ideal and serene transcendental spaces.


Suyeon Kim

Suyeon Kim is a Korean glass artist who uses glass as her primary medium for creating drawing-based works inspired by personal experiences. She pursued studies in ceramics, glass, and printmaking at Hongik University, and later completed her graduate studies in glass at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in the United States. She has participated in various residency programs both in Korea and abroad, including the Icheon Ceramic Foundation's Cerapia Creation Workshop, the Yeosu Gyeonggi Craft Creation Support Center, the Pilchuck Glass School in the United States, and Wheaton Arts. Currently, she runs her studio called "Damdam Studio" located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, and works as a lecturer in the ceramics and glass department at Hongik University, as well as in the craft design department at Cheongju University.


Sukyung Chung

Sukyung Chung is a Korean glass artist who focuses on exploring the artistic expressions inherent in the properties of glass. She studied glass design at Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts and completed her master's and doctoral degrees at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the United Kingdom and the Department of Industrial Design at Kyung Hee University, respectively. She has held solo exhibitions at prestigious venues such as Marchh Gallery Hannam and Monoha Hannam, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and fairs in Korea, the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Her works predominantly employ the casting technique, where colored glass blocks are fused together using heat, resulting in a diverse range of pieces inspired by the abstract nature of architecture and geometrical structures.
