This special gathering marks the public launch of our groundbreaking paper Legal Pathways for Child Sexual Abuse Survivors. The paper represents months of collaboration between legal experts, advocates, and survivors, and sets out clear options for adult survivors.
The evening will open with welcome remarks from Taura Edgar, Founder and Chair of TALK Hong Kong, followed by a presentation of key findings from the paper by co-authors Darcy Davison-Roberts & Stephanie Hader. Guests will also hear from a survivor, bringing lived experience and expert insight together. Throughout the event, copies of Becoming an Empowered Survivor by Beth Jones—TALK peer support group alumna and past Advisor—will be available for purchase.
Over light refreshments and intimate conversations, this event will bring together legal professionals, policymakers, social workers, donors, media, survivors, and advocates—a community committed to creating systemic change and ensuring survivors are supported, believed, and protected.
