Animals Around Us (3 Aug - 7 Aug AM Session)
Event Information
About this Event
Our Earth is home to many animals – strong, beautiful, dangerous, creepy and some that are downright weird! This summer, your little scholar will learn more about some of the wonderfully strange creatures that inhabit the planet with us through an Arts-integrated approach. We will use a mix of story-telling, reading from fiction and non-fiction books, get our hands messy in art projects, embark on fun animal walks, take part in improvised theatre games and brainstorm ideas for a greener planet. Students will leave the week-long course with a greater understanding and appreciation of the animal kingdom while also having polished their Literacy and Art skills.
Ages 4 - 8
Scholars can sign up for both the morning and afternoon sessions as material covered will be different.
About the Teacher: Anusha Asif is a co-teacher at Harbour Village and loves being around kids!
