What if we used our anger as one of our greatest teachers?

Classic psychology tells us that there are 3 basic “negative” emotions: anger, fear and sadness. They all need to be released in some way if we are to live peaceful, sick-free lives. But what if we could learn to use our anger, fear, etc, as our greatest teacher and accept its presence, rather than stuffing it down and avoiding it until we explode uncontrollably?

This meditation will combine breathing techniques to quiet the mind, followed by analysis to befriend it. The mind is not the enemy; letting it run wild and out of control is! Using it to analyse anger and learn from it is what it is actually for!

The meditation will comprise three parts:

You will be guided to quiet the mind with particular breathing exercises
You will be guided to enquire into the source (in this case a person) of your anger (you can also do this with “attachment” and will be guided accordingly)
You will be guided in how to release the feeling of anger from your body, leaving you feeling a lot lighter and freer

The whole meditation will take about an hour. Come along and see how you can start to make your mind, and your anger, work for you
