Raffaele Bertolini - Clarinet
Alberto Firrincieli is an Italian pianist, harpsichord player, composer and scholar. Recently winner of the second prize in the International Contest “SIMM 2018 – New Music for Harpsichord”, he is currently full-time lecturer of the Department of Music Performance at the Assumption University of Thailand where he teaches Composition and Harpsichord Major. He is also piano and harpsichord teacher at Siam Kolkarn Ratchadapisek Music School and he established the IKA - International Keyboard Academy. Alberto is the artistic director of Bangkok International Piano Festival, the early music festival Note Barocche, and the ITYO - Italian Thai Youth Orchestra. Alberto is regularly invited as guest speaker, scholar and performer by International Institutions all over the world, especially in Asia and Europe, in order to hold recitals, conferences, masterclasses, workshops. Moreover, he collaborates with the Italian Embassy of Thailand in the realization of artistic and cultural events.
Raffaele Bertolini achieved the highest Italian academic qualification in instrumental studies by getting the II Level Degree in Clarinet at the Milan "G. Verdi" Conservatory. As a chamber music player, he played in prestigious venues in Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and many more. Besides, his soloist career led him to perform with esteemed European orchestral ensembles. Worth mentioning is also his activity as Orchestral Professor within formations such as UECO Orchestra (Milan), OPECAM Orchestra (Milan), Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra (Milan), Lodi Symphony Orchestra, E. Lunghi Orchestra (Pavia), Cantelli Symphony Orchestra (Milano), and the "G. Verdi" Symphony Orchestra (Salerno) conducted by Daniel Oren. Alongside his wide recording activity, both for Radio Broadcasts and CD Albums, Raffaele has been teacher at the Bari Conservatory and is presently Chair of Clarinet at the "Tenca” High School in Milan.
