About this event
Why This Workshop?
Teachers crave evidence-informed practice, but…
- journal articles are dense and time-consuming,
- the “so what?” for your next lesson is rarely clear, and
- it’s hard to check if you really understood the research.
In this 90-minute live session you’ll use AI to summarise papers, pull out classroom tactics, and slot them straight into your lesson plans.
What You’ll Be Able to Do
After the workshop you can…
- Summarise Quickly: shrink a 20-page study to one paragraph plus a 1-page teacher handout.
- Extract Strategies: build a ready-to-use checklist of activities backed by the research.
- Plan Lessons: create high-prep and low-prep lesson plans “in the author’s voice”.
- Self-Test Understanding: generate quizzes & reflection prompts to verify comprehension.
- Find More Evidence: ask AI for perfectly matched follow-up reading.
Outcomes
- I can get a teacher-friendly summary of any study in minutes.
- I can turn research findings into a classroom checklist.
- I can build a lesson plan aligned with evidence—fast.
- I can quiz myself (or colleagues) to confirm understanding.
- I can request further reading that targets my exact teaching problem.
Who Should Attend?
- EFL / ESL teachers (young learners to adults, CEFR A1–C1)
- Teacher trainers, Directors of Studies & mentors
- K-12 or university educators who want an evidence-informed toolkit
