Why This Workshop?

Teachers tell us the same three problems:

  • Students forget new words as soon as class ends.
  • Traditional gap-fills & flashcards feel like dull homework.
  • AI sounds promising, but setting it up takes too long.

This session fixes all three by giving you ready-to-run AI games that recycle meaning, form and collocation—no coding, no stress.

What You’ll Be Able to Do

After the workshop you can…

  1. Run AI Games: launch “Odd One Out” and “L1→L2 Flashcards” from any word list.
  2. Adjust Difficulty: tweak prompts instantly for A1–C1 or younger/older learners.
  3. Build a Custom GPT: create a share-link students use without seeing your prompts.
  4. Boost Retrieval: embed retrieval, spacing & variation into every round.
  5. Track Engagement: collect student scores & reflections via quick in-tool checks.

Outcomes

  • I can create my own vocabulary games in ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude.
  • I can adapt each game for level, age and exam focus.
  • I can give students a QR link to a custom GPT for self-study practice.

Who Should Attend?

  • Primary & secondary English teachers (young learners to adults, CEFR A1–C1)
  • IELTS / DET / GESE / ISE / KET / PET / DSE prep teachers
  • University EAP tutors
  • Anyone who assigns word lists and wants students to use them!
