About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Tired of slow, unnatural coursebook audio that doesn’t reflect real-world English? Authentic audio—podcasts, interviews, talk shows—is fast, messy, and full of features that textbooks leave out. But using it in class is hard: finding the right clips, making transcripts, creating tasks... it all takes time. Join our upcoming webinar to see how AI can make that process faster and easier—and help your students understand how English is really spoken.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how to:

  • Find real-world audio using free tools
  • Generate and use transcripts to support listening
  • Analyse transcripts with AI to find useful language
  • Create listening tasks that reflect natural communication

Leave with practical strategies you can use right away to bring real English into your classroom—without hours of prep.

Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.

This workshop is a supplemtary session from the popular online course AI for Language Teaching.

"Since joining the AI course I've saved at least 2 hours every week on my lesson planning and prep. I love Ross's workshops, they are clear, easy to follow and very practical for my teaching." - J. Wong (Hong Kong)

"I thought using AI would be daunting as I'm not a techy person. But after joining the course, I've been able to use AI to help plan lessons, design activities, and even make pictures for my lessons." - Matilda (Hong Kong)

For the best experience, attendees should have:

  • a computer or ipad style device (a phone will also work)
  • stable internet access
  • a headset with microphone
  • a webcam
