Previously dubbed "On AI For Creativity", our sessional Keynote event aims to engage the community with knowledge, inspiration and connection in AI, while also giving our guest speakers a platform to share their work and ideas in a more intimate setting. As always, expect a relaxing night filled with knowledge, inspiration, and connections in the heart of Central 🍷. 🚀 Presentation 1: Evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) in the Context of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)The integration of interactive large language models (LLMs) into various aspects of everyday life has been a significant technological breakthrough, showcasing exceptional functionality and continuous improvement. This presentation will examine the recent advancements and current challenges faced by LLMs, assessing both the opportunities they present and the limitations that persist. Additionally, it will discuss the critical research on AI alignment, emphasizing its importance in the broader context of developing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).Presenter Bio: Yejin Bang is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Center for AI Research (CAiRE) at HKUST, specializing in NLP and Responsible AI. Her research encompasses safety in AI, LLM Evaluation, and Machine Human Value Alignment. Yejin's work has been recognized at key conferences such as EMNLP, NAACL, AACL. 🚀 Presentation 2: Blue Ocean Markets for Generative AI CreatorsGenerative AI is the disruptive technology of this era, unlocking new possibilities, challenging existing workflows, and prompting content creators to take massive action to stay relevant, learning and unlearning at a faster pace. This presentation is a research &amp; practical guide on how to systematically survive and thrive as a Generative AI creator and create your sustainable online brand. Presenter Bio: Mohamed Sobhy currently studies Computer Science at HKUST and has won notable engineering competition.
