Originated from San Francisco (USA), Aging2.0® is a global innovation network on a mission to accelerate innovation to improve the lives of older adults around the world. Aging2.0 connects, educates and supports innovators through community (Aging2.0 Alliance and Chapters), events, startup programs and content. Over the past 4 years, Aging2.0 has hosted more than 300 events around the world, cultivating a robust ecosystem of entrepreneurs, technologists, designers, investors, senior care providers and older adults themselves.

About Aging2.0 Global Startup Search

The Aging2.0 Global Startup Search is an annual program designed in searching around the world for the best aging-focused startups. The competition kicks off with a series of pitch events in Chapter cities around the world - hundreds of startups apply to compete and local teams carefully select participants and judges for each event. The winning startup from each local pitch event moves forward to an online voting round, where the general public and panel of expert judges evaluate and contribute to the selection of finalists. The finale pitch event will take place during the Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE Conference in San Francisco. The Hong Kong pitch event will be held at Mettā from 2-5 PM on 25 March 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

- Must have at least a minimum viable product (past conceptual stage)
- Have less than US$5 million in funding / revenue
- Founder or C-level executive must be the person presenting
- Must be focused on improving the quality of life for older adults
- Be able to present in English
