A parent workshop presented by Joyce Edmondson
Joyce is a Canadian/ American Registered Nurse with 20 years experience working in all areas of hospital inpatient and community nursing. She holds a degree of Bachelor of Nursing. A great deal of her skills stem from a strong background in Emergency nursing and teaching. She is currently an instructor in First Aid and CPR, teaching all over Hong Kong. Following the birth of her first child, Joyce felt that she missed her passion and went back to school to complete her certification in Sleep Consulting. She has been helping families in the community for 5 years. She works closely with the family and tailors a plan to fit individual needs.
Joyce moved to Hong Kong in 2008, she has two children aged 4 and 7. Both children were born here in Hong Kong where she had her first and very pleasant experience in the public health system.
The workshop will address:
- The importance of sleep and how a sleep cycles works for babies
- The importance of a daily routine
- How to create a feeding schedule
- How to create a nap schedule
- How to create a bedtime routine
Private consultations can be arranged by appointment only after attendance of the workshop - details will be given at the workshop.
