Event Details

Dear Friend,

The 8th International Symposium on DNA-Encoded Chemical Libraries will be held at Chengdu on Friday October 19, 2018. Industry experts and academic investigators in this increasingly important area will assemble to present and discuss the most recent developments and applications of this technology to early-stage small molecule drug discovery. This symposium is held annually, located at venues in Zurich, Boston, and now Chengdu.

In addition, the 2018 International Symposium on the Frontiers and Practice of Innovative Drug Discovery will be held at Chengdu, China from October 18 to 19, 2018. World experts from the pharmaceutical industry will gather to share their experiences in drug discovery. Through a series of innovative R&D case studies, workshops, one-on-one partnering opportunities, and posters we will facilitate an international event with the capacity for thousands of attendees to participate in discussions and contribute to possible business collaborations across the industrial and academic spectrum.

We look forward to welcoming you to Chengdu! We anticipate organizing a visit to local sites of interest to attendees of either Symposium on Saturday October 20th.

HitGen Ltd.

HitGen is a biotech company with headquarters and main research facilities based in Chengdu, China and with a subsidiary in the USA. HitGen has established a platform for small molecular discovery centred around DNA encoded chemical libraries (DELs). HitGen’s DELs contain more than 100 billion novel, diverse, drug-like small molecule and macrocyclic compounds. These compounds are members of DELs synthesised from many hundreds of distinct chemical scaffolds, designed with tractable chemistry, and yielding proven results for the discovery of small molecule leads against precedented and unprecedented classes of biological targets. HitGen is collaborating with over 50 pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical companies and research institutes in Asia, North America and Europe to discover and develop approaches for novel medicines.
