好心程 (hou2 sam1 cing4), our newly launched cantonese mental health peer support group translates to "Journey of Kind Hearts" in English. It represents a collective path where individuals with compassionate hearts come together to support one another’s mental well-being. The name highlights the significance of empathy and kindness within the peer group, creating a strong sense of unity and empathy.

Description:

We are excited to announce our first-ever Cantonese Mental Health and Wellbeing, Peer Support Group! Join us in a supportive space where Hong Kongers can come together to share experiences, find comfort, and foster community.

About the Event:

This free peer support group aims to address the unique challenges faced by individuals in Hong Kong when it comes to mental health, wellbeing, and grief. Language plays a vital role in how we communicate and share, and we understand the limited availability of accessible resources for people to find mental support in Hong Kong. This is precisely why we firmly believe in the importance of offering support in Cantonese through our initiative.

The group sessions will provide a warm and empathetic environment where participants can connect with others who share similar experiences. Through open discussions we will explore various topics related to mental health, grief and wellbeing.

Highlights:

Peer Support: Share personal stories, challenges, and triumphs in a non-judgmental space, and gain insights from others who have faced similar situations.

Nurturing Community: Build a strong network of support, foster new relationships, and expand your community with like-minded individuals.

Self-Care Strategies: Learn from others about what worked for them.

Who Should Attend:

This free support group is open to anyone who speaks Cantonese and is seeking support, understanding, and community. Whether you are struggling with mental health issues, experiencing grief or loss, or simply looking to enhance your self-care skills, this group welcomes individuals at any stage of their journey.

We look forward to seeing you at 好心程 the Cantonese Mental Health, Wellbeing, and Grief Peer Support Group!
