闊別數年的「東南亞攝影系列」再度回歸，今次繼續與新加坡策展人莊吳斌合作，邀請了趙敬堂參與光影作坊的第四個「東南亞攝影系列」展覽。趙敬堂生於香港，後來移居到新加坡。移民的身份，加上家庭離散的背景，讓她建立與家連繫的過程一點都不容易。今次的展覽當中，她嘗試以創作理解及抒發自身經歷及情感，並試圖探討命運中更多的可能性。

趙敬堂是一名視覺藝術家，她形容自己來自一個離散家庭；除了與家人聚少離多的生活外，也是代表她個人早年飄泊到南洋的經歷。趙主要以繪畫和攝影作為創作媒介：「我喜歡在繪畫創作中嘗試堆疊不同物料，感覺上就像是一層一層地堆積我的經歷與情感。這次展覽中的攝影作品記錄了我們離散旅程中的一些特定事件。」

光影作坊的「東南亞攝影系列」受到過去幾年疫情而收緊的出入境政策而影響，導致一直將展覽延期。策展人莊吳斌形容面對着生活突如其來的變化，作為一般民眾有時會感到無助，因為覺得可以做的確實有限。而趙與其家人離散的的旅程期間，如何面對生活中的無助和焦慮，或許是所有人的課題。

今年4月，光影作坊呈獻「東南亞攝影系列（四）趙敬堂—坐在窗前，看畫風乾」，誠邀各位到現場參觀展覽，認識東南亞的攝影與創作。如有興趣與趙敬堂交流，亦歡迎出席4月1日的開幕及分享會活動。
