Held at the beautiful edible landscape at Metroplaza Organic Rooftop Farm, you will have an opportunity to experience an edible oasis in the middle of the city, learn more about the crops that are in season, and understand more about how each of us as consumers can combat the growing problem of food waste. To wrap up the session, you will also enjoy hands-on experience in growing microgreens - young vegetable greens that fall between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables and contain up to 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than mature vegetables! </p><h3>Event Details:</h3><p><strong>Date</strong>: April 22 (Saturday, Earth Day)</p><p><strong>Time</strong>: 10:30AM-12:00PM</p><p><strong>Venue</strong>: Metroplaza L5 Sky Garden</p><p><strong>Fee</strong>: $250 (each adult may bring along one child under 10 years old for free), which includes:</p><ul><li>Workshop entrance for the Earth Day Weekend</li><li>Partial herbs harvesting</li><li>One Rooftop Republic Microgreens Growing Kit (retails for $150)</li></ul><p><strong>Suitable</strong>: anyone with no prior farming experience (especially perfect for families to join) </p><p><strong>Language</strong>: Cantonese</p><p>*Certificate of Attendance will be sent to attendees by email within one month after the event.</p><p>Sign up now  - Spaces are limited!</p><p></p><h3>Terms and Conditions</h3><ul><li>All of our workshops are non-refundable.</li><li>Rooftop Republic Urban Farming and Feeding Hong Kong reserves the right to cancel events.</li><li>If we cancel the event you will be entitled to a 100% refund, or you may choose to transfer to another date, subject to availability.</li><li>Rooftop Republic Urban Farming and Feeding Hong Kong reserves the ownership and the right to publish photos and videos taken at the event, which may include participants, without prior permission, unless notified in advance of the event.</li></ul><p></p>
