How do I use a discount code?

Enter your discount code (e.g., GROUP4 or VMCFREE) in the “Discount Code” box at Eventbrite checkout. Discounted tickets (like Group or Returnee Free) are hidden until the correct code is entered.

Can I register and pay online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All registration and secure payment are done online via Eventbrite. No cash or other payment methods will be accepted on-site or beforehand.

What are “concession” tickets?

Accepted Answer

Concession tickets offer a discount for full-time students, seniors aged 65 or above, and persons with disabilities. Please remember to bring your valid ID (student card, senior ID, or disability card) to show at the training reception.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

Accepted Answer

Pay HK$1,750 and submit a short appeal by 14 September. If you’re selected, you’re in! If not, we’ll notify you by 20 September and refund your fee automatically. (No action needed on your part.) If you need help, contact us anytime.

Question 6

Who are “past VMC training graduates”?

Accepted Answer

They are people who completed the 3-day VMC certificate course anywhere in the world. We also call them “returnees.”

What do I gain by returning as a past graduate?

Accepted Answer

Returnees are promoted to Level-2 status, unlocking access to advanced training at your own pace, support from experienced trainers, and opportunities to develop your skills and facilitation style. It’s a chance to deepen your practice, grow with the community, and enjoy a transformative weekend.

Tell me more about the deal. I’m a past VMC graduate.

Accepted Answer

If you bring 3 new students who register at the Early Bird price, you can attend the training for free using the code VMCFREE. Just register with the code and we’ll contact you after to confirm details. It’s a great way to refresh your skills and share the experience with friends!

Question 9

What is your refund policy if I need to cancel my registration?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel by giving written notice to the organiser at least 7 days before training starts (by 17 Oct 2025) to get a refund. Cancellations after this are non-refundable but tickets can be transferred to someone else by contacting us.

Do I get a full refund if the event is cancelled by the organiser?

Accepted Answer

If the event is cancelled, you’ll be notified promptly and refunded the full ticket price minus Eventbrite’s non-refundable service and processing fees.

Question 11

Will I be refunded the exact amount I paid?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket price includes Eventbrite’s fees, which are non-refundable. Refunds will generally be the ticket price minus these fees (approximately 5.99%). The organiser covers Eventbrite's fees when you purchase your ticket.

Where is my ticket that I purchased?

Accepted Answer

I'm planning to attend this event from overseas. Shall I go ahead and book my flight and hotel now?

Please do not book non-refundable or non-changeable flights or hotel before 24 September. The Drum Circle Facilitation Training is scheduled for 24–26 October; however, the final decision will be made around 23 September based on registrations. Thank you for your understanding.

您的退款政策是什麼？如果我要取消報名，可以得到退款嗎？

您必須至少在培訓開始前7天（即2025年10月17日前）以書面形式通知主辦方取消報名，方可獲得退款。逾期取消將無法退款，但您可聯絡我們將票券轉讓給其他人使用。

是的，若活動被取消，您將會及時收到通知並退還全額票款，但需扣除 Eventbrite 不可退還的服務及手續費。
