Italian Sports Day 2026 – Open Water Swimming Race

IMPORTANT: Please pick your race distance (400m, 1500m, or both) by selecting one ticket option during your registration. If you want to participate in both races, please register by selecting ONLY the "BOTH RACES · 400m and 1500m" ticket option.

The Italian Sports Day 2026 – Open Water Swimming Race will bring together swimmers in Hong Kong to celebrate sport, well-being and exchanges between Italy and Hong Kong. Following the success of last year’s event, which attracted around 200 amateur and professional swimmers, the competition will once again highlight the values of friendship, fair play and sporting excellence.

The event is part of the Italian Sports Day initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and coordinated in Hong Kong by the Consulate General of Italy. Open to swimming enthusiasts of different levels, the event offers a fun and engaging opportunity to take part in an international sporting celebration.

When: Sunday, 13 September 2026, from 8:30 to 11:30

Where: Victoria Recreation Club (VRC) - Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong Island

• Course 1: race distance 400m
• Course 2: race distance 1500m

Minimum Age: 12

SAFETY BUOYS are mandatory during the ENTIRE race. Failure to do so will not be allowed to participate in the race or will be disqualified. 安全浮波必須於比賽期間全程戴上。 違者可者被取消資格。

Free Registration (first come first served; maximum no. of participants: 150)

The printed and signed Liability Waiver must be presented during registration at the venue on race day. For minors, the form must also be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
