The Théâtre de la Feuille, a performing arts group in Hong Kong, will stage one of its acclaimed productions “PAPA” at the Shaw Auditorium. “PAPA” is a non-verbal mask theatre that weaves a narrative about family and memory through masks, physical movement, and music.

The production has been performed in cities including Guangzhou, Tokyo, Taipei, Wuzhen, Tianjin, Wuhan, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, receiving wide acclaim from audiences. In 2026, it will make its performance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Synopsis

Years ago, on the first day of school, he sent his boy off into the classroom. The child cried his lungs out, as he turned away firmly hiding tears rolling down his cheek. Today, his son and daughter-in-law hand-in-hand, together with him, as they arrived at the elderly's home. He looked at them longingly; as they turned away firmly with a sigh of relief.

It is about old and young; forgetting and remembering; encounter and departure; it is about Hong Kong and home; it is about you and me.

香港表演藝術團體綠葉劇團將於逸夫演藝中心上演其備受讚譽的作品《爸爸》，一齣非語言面具劇，透過面具、肢體動作及音樂交織出關於家庭與記憶的故事。

作品先後於廣州、東京、台北、烏鎮、天津、武漢、成都、北京、上海、深圳及香港等城市巡演，廣受觀眾好評，2026年將來到香港科技大學演出。

《爸爸》充滿創意、充滿情感，找到一個非常特殊的表達方式，看得很過癮。

故事簡介

時針無論是慢是懶，經他巧手一推還是隨著時代巨輪走。他臥身老唐樓下的角落梯底舖，大半輩子靠著維修手錶，把孩子撫育成人。當年孩子第一天上學，看著孩子在校門口盯著他哭得撕心裂肺，他深吸口氣鎮定回頭，強忍心底的眼淚。

誰又知道今天，孩子正式把他送到養老院。他在門口看著孩子輕巧轉身，呼出一片輕鬆。

• Late-comers will be admitted only if there is a suitable break in the performance.
  遲到者需按工作人員指示在合適時間下方可進場。
• The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, performers and seating arrangement. In case of dispute, the decision of the organizer shall be final.
