兒童癌病基金是香港唯一和首創家居及紓緩護理服務的非牟利機構。自1999年起，我們透過與公立醫院和特殊學校建立緊密伙伴關係，為病童及其家庭提供全面且優質的服務。現時，我們與醫院管理局轄下13間醫院及超過40間特殊學校緊密合作。
基金意識到需要兒童紓緩服務的不只患癌兒童，自2011年起，基金將家居紓緩護理服務擴展至非癌症的重症病童及其家庭。經過七年的先導計劃，確定了需求，逐於2018年成立直屬於兒童癌病基金的兒童紓緩服務基金。兒童紓緩服務基金的成立，充分反映了我們對提升兒童紓緩服務的質素、彌補服務缺口及為病童及其家庭提供全面支持的承諾。
Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) is the first and leading non-profit organisation in Hong Kong, specialising in children’s palliative care (CPC) services at home. Since 1999, we have become the most trusted foundation for young patients and families with close collaboration with 13 hospitals under Hong Kong Hospital Authority and more than 40 special schools.
In recognising the service needs and gaps, CCF has extended our palliative and home care services to non-cancer seriously ill patients and families since 2011. With seven years of successful pilot experiences, the Children's Palliative Care Foundation (CPCF) was established in 2018 as an entity of CCF. The formation of CPCF underscores our commitment to enhancing palliative care for children, bridging service gaps and ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.
