As a child, he assisted his grandfather in Venetian ironwork, and when the masters allowed him into the shop, he began working with Murano glass, specialising in Vetro a lume.Despite his early immersion in craftsmanship, his studies took him in a completely different direction—first into Theoretical Astrophysics, followed by an MBA in International Business.
