DID YOU KNOW?
There are more people in slavery today than any other time in history.
You, can help us end it.
The 24 Hour Race is a Running To Stop The Traffik (RTSTT) initiative that empowers high school students to lead the movement to end modern slavery.
Human trafficking is present in every country, and the COVID-19 pandemic has just made it worse. Victims of human trafficking are more vulnerable to contracting the virus and less equipped to handle it. Furthermore, drastic decreases in job opportunities as well as reductions in income mean those who were already vulnerable find themselves in an even more precarious situation.
And that’s exactly why we run. For 12 hours, we push ourselves, physically and mentally to help those in need. The pandemic will not silence our efforts to combat the scourge of modern-day slavery. Millions of vulnerable families and individuals are without access to freedom, safety, and other primary necessities. We run to bring awareness to the cause. We run to stop the traffik.
So what are we fundraising for?
