Artificial intelligence is shaping the future of language education in exciting ways. In this practical 90-minute online workshop, we'll help you get started using AI. During the session, you will: Learn the basics of what AI is. Get an overview of leading AI applications and sign up for one of these (for free). Discuss the potential for using AI in language teaching and learning. Use AI to help generate ideas for a lesson you will be teaching soon. We'll allow time for Q&amp;A so you can get answers to your questions. If you’re new to AI and looking to get started, this webinar will give you the strategies and resources you need to begin. Trainer: Ross ThorburnRoss started his teaching journey in 2006, teaching students of all ages in central China. Ross is passionate about using technology to improve education. He’s run online training programs for teachers in over fifty countries and used AI to evaluate the teaching quality of over 10,000 teachers. In 2020, Ross published his first book, Inside Online Language Teaching. Ross’s more recent book, Unlocking Success on the Duolingo English Test, covers strategies for success in the world’s first fully online AI powered high stakes language assessment.
