Description

Ecozine is delighted to present the inaugural Zero Waste Week Global Summit in Hong Kong on June 11th. This high-profile event is an anchor of Hong Kong’s first-ever Zero Waste Week - a citywide thought leadership campaign June 7-14th, supported by the Hong Kong Cleanup, The Nature Conservancy, Ark Eden, ESF, Cyberport, Ocean Park Conservation Foundation and many others.

Zero Waste is a goal that is ethical, economical, efficient and visionary. It means designing and managing products and processes better, to avoid and eliminate the volume and toxicity of waste and materials, conserve and recover all resources.

This can be achieved; across the globe, companies, schools, offices, large scale events, major cities and countries are setting Zero Waste targets toward a brighter, cleaner future without problems like overflowing landfills and plastic-filled oceans. With our landfills almost full, the Zero Waste conversation is extremely timely for Hong Kong.
