Description

For a number of decades, China has been a focal point of the global technology industry. China’s focus was producing and manufacturing technology instead of designing and marketing their final products. The global technology brands that generate consumer love, media attention, and high profits were in the west. Chinese technology businesses are now shifting from strictly manufacturing and are starting their journey to become global brands using the Asian technological empire Samsung as their map.

This seminar will promote ideas concerning how commoditized manufacturing Chinese businesses can evolve to become globally competitive brands. Three shifts that are redefining the business world will be introduced with the impact digital has on global brand building.

Niraj Dawar is Professor of Marketing at the Ivey Business School. His recent book- TILT, published by Harvard Business Press has been one of the most bestselling book on Amazon.
