“Black History Month” is a month of cultural events created to highlight and honor the extraordinary achievements and historic contributions of African-Americans and those across the “Black Diaspora” including Africans, Afro-Caribbeans, and Afro-Latinos.
Although originally an American phenomenon, in efforts to encompass the full diaspora the Global Citizens Community presents Hong Kong’s International Black History Month 2015.
There will be spectacular musical performances by Hong Kong’s leading American live soul band featuring heady brew of soul, funk, blues, jazz, Motown, R&B and African soul that you don’t see often in Hong Kong!
Come enjoy this musical journey and celebration of black music across the diaspora, with performances by Monique Franz and ABA and the Funk Mob.
This night will be a great way to start off Valentine's Day for sure...
Plan to arrive early as reserved seating is on an first arrival basis.
Food will be availble for purchases from the Organge Peel Kitchem.
